About the Author
Some kids grew up wanting to be athletes, astronauts, or firefighters. But Anthony Falleroni had his eyes on a different prize... Since an early age, Anthony has always known his true calling was to be a storyteller.
His passion with homemade comics and filming productions with an all-stuffed-animal cast - then evolved into founding a student filmmaking group in college. His passion never wavered, and eventually led him to earn his MFA in Film from the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, CA.
A self-taught animator, Anthony has spent the last two decades working with some of the biggest names in entertainment and tech – Disney, EA, Nike, and Microsoft – while also creating and developing his own short films and other passion projects.

Planet of the Pets is Anthony's debut graphic novella, and it might be his most personal work yet. The story itself was born of deep frustration with the world. Frustrations with our endless greed, with systems that ignore the vulnerable, with a society that often values the wrong things. But you wouldn't know it from the art. Anthony's visual style is deceptively cheerful — the kind of thing that makes you smile right up until it makes you think…
That contrast is very much intentional. Anthony has always believed that the best stories sneak up on you, that giggles and gut-punches can coexist, and that empathy travels further wrapped in imagination.
When he's not creating, you'll find him watching a movie (any movie — new, old, animated, live action, doesn't matter), trying a new restaurant, playing Nintendo, or reading on the couch with his wife and cat, Butters.
Planet of the Pets is just the beginning. Whatever comes next, it'll be worth paying attention to.
